Aggressive behavior patterns are one of the most common reasons why children and adolescents are referred to psychological and psychiatric interventions. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between temperament and character and brain-behavioral systems with conduct symptoms in students. The method used in this study was correlational and the research samples consists of 400 students during the 2016 educational year in high schools of the city Ardabil that were selected by clustering random sampling. To collect data, Conduct Disorder Questionnaire form teachers (Shahrivari and et al., 2010), brain-behavioral systems (Carver & White, 1994) and the Temperament and Character Inventory (Cloninger & Svrakic, 1994) were used, and the collected data have been analyzed by the Pearson correlation and Multiple Regression tests. The results showed that among BAS components, drive with aggression (r= 0/28, p<0/01), entertainment search with aggression (r= 0/19, p<0/05) and with Irresponsibility (r= 0/28, p<0/01) there is a positive correlation but BIS there is a negative correlation with aggression (r= -0/31, p<0/01), Sabotage (r= -0/28, p<0/05), Irresponsibility (r= -0/34, p<0/01). Also among the components of temperament and character novelty seeking there is a positive correlation with conduct symptoms and harm avoidance and cooperativeness have a negative correlation with conduct symptoms. The results of regression showed that novelty seeking, harm avoidance, reward dependency and BIS can predict Signs of conduct. It seems that The higher the novelty seeking of individuals and Behavioral Activation System more active, the more likely to do conduct behaviors.
